I'm not afraid of heights but this bridge made my hands sweat a little bit. The only thing that's between you and the river below is wood. Not only is the bridge 1,053 feet above the river, you can actually see between each strip. Every piece of wood is held down by a couple of bolts. That makes the experience a little bit more terrifying but awesome at the same time.
Just to set the record straight, I did walk to the other side and back. Cars and buses are allowed to cross the bridge but only at 10 mph. A car or two passed me while on the bridge and that was no problem for me. When I was at the other end, a truck with a trailer drove onto the bridge and shook the entire platform up and down. I snapped a couple more photos and had enough after that.
