Chicago / Summer 2021

As we’re moving closer to August, I’m slowly catching up on some of my recent travels. I’ll start with Chicago, where my wife and I traveled last summer. While I have been to the windy city, it was my wife’s first time.

So you may ask, why Chicago? To visit friends and of course for the love of traveling!

While visiting Chicago, we checked out various restaurants, museums, shops, and the legendary Wrigley Field!

The restaurants we ate at were The Publican, Gibsons, RPM Seafood, and Polo, but our favorite was probably Tzuco! I highly recommend trying out all of them. Even though we didn’t go out to eat for a deep-dish pizza, we ordered delivery from Giordano’s while hanging out with friends in Hyde Park.

For sightseeing, we went up the Hancock Tower for views, took a boat cruise up through the Chicago River, visited the Sports Museum, bought shoes at Stadium Goods, and spent hours at the Museum of Science and Industry, where we got to see an entire submarine!

Above Casa De Campo - Part 2

Two years ago, I made a post sharing drone images from the Casa de Campo resort using the Mavic 2. I’m now introducing part 2 of this series, including some of the same areas but different angles. This time, I used the DJI Mavic Air 2. Great drone! It can shoot up to 42MP. Say no more! I love the video quality, but still, as a photographer, if you’re going to give me more depth in my photos, take my money!
