I usually spend Sundays watching football and cheering on my Eagles, however, this past weekend was different. My team had the week off and I decided to cross off a bucket-list of mine and visit Mallows Bay.
Why visit this area? Well, because it's considered the largest shipwreck fleet in the Western Hemisphere located in Charles County, MD.
Poorly constructed steamships built during WWI were left behind for scrap metal. The company that moved the ships to the Potomac river went bankrupt, so they were just abandoned and eventually burned.
