Watching this dude grow musically has been anything but inspiring. I had the pleasure of kicking it with him and his boys during a photo shoot in pursuit of stills for new songs to be released. I recently had the great pleasure of visiting Mix Master Studios in Burke, VA for the first round of the Opportunity's 2017 competition. Many young local artists from the DMV got the chance to record a song, interview with DJ Flexx, and be mentored by very talented musicians in the area. I personally got the chance to document these mini sessions occurring throughout the day.
It's amazing to see musicians chase their dream and differentiate themselves from one another at such a young age. It reminds me of myself when I was their age. Also, it makes me proud to know that even in such a hard competitive working place where the landscape of the industry is always changing, they're willing to jump and go after what makes them happy and unique.
