Zaanse Schans | Volendam - Marken

I got my first taste of what a small Northern European fishing town looks like. Beautiful and amazing. The people were so kind and we got to see how the traditional Dutch clog shoes were made. My wife and I also got to try a variety of dutch cheese and I got to say the smoked aged was my favorite!

Amsterdam

I've been waiting to finally start blogging about my honeymoon I went on with my wife in June-July to The Netherlands, France, and Italy. What a dream experience! The food, people, history, culture, and the scenery was overwhelming. 

Our trip began in Amsterdam where Heineken is brewed, bikes are more popular than cars, and pretty much anything goes.  Living on a canal boat is very tempting once you visit this place.
