Have you ever been? Probably not, but you should! This little gem located in the Ivy City neighborhood is definitely worth a taste. I had the delight of photographing a great wedding reception here at the Republic Restoratives Distillery.

In an earlier post this year, I mentioned that I had decided to move on from my Bowens lights finally and joined the Profoto team. You may ask why I moved on, and I could name a few, but it’s quite simple. Profoto’s products aren’t cheap by any means, but they’re consistent and very mobile-friendly. I’m tired of relying on big bulky batteries and extension chords. Their products synch extremely well together while nothing is perfect; this at least lets me be worry-free of something going wrong.
