Recording Session with Derrick Credito

Most of you probably know already, but for those who don't, when I'm not behind the camera, I'm playing drums. I've been a musician since childhood, so when Derrick gave me a call to play drums on his latest track, I gladly accepted. The first step was laying down the drums, then came the rhythmic layers, and lastly the vocals and any other additions or changes. I'm pleased with the end results and hope you enjoy. The song is about pro-choice.

Lu Olutosin at the Kennedy Center

I finally got my first opportunity to shoot at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Anytime I see Jazz live it reminds me of when I attended the Berklee College of Music. They drilled that stuff into our heads and it never gets old.

Sweet Lu had a very straight and thorough one hour set. He's been touring around the world and came to DC to perform his classics. Only thing I would have changed about this event was to be able to get closer to the stage. The Kennedy Center is very strict as to where the photographer is allowed to stand.
