I always try and make sure to get out more with my camera when I'm not shooting with clients. Over Labor Day weekend I visited Rock Creek park in DC for the first time. Even though it was scorching hot outside, I had an enjoyable walk through the woods in our Nations Capital.  

Rock Creek Park is a large natural area located in NW, Washington, D.C. about four square miles with public park facilities, a  creek, and a horse center. My walk was only two miles but apparently there are longer trails that loop around the whole park. Next time I'll have to go back on a cooler day and try one of the much more lengthy routes.
